During this full day through the historic districts of Lyon, discover the city’s hidden treasures and its many talents!

The morning will be dedicated to the historic center: the ascent to the basilica of Fourvière thanks to the mythical "ficelle", the historical funicular linking the bottom and the top of the "hill that prays". At the top, you may enjoy the exceptional panoramic city view, visit the basilica “Notre Dame de Fourvière”, protector of the city, but also cross the remains of the Gallo-Roman theaters.

Then you will return to the Old Town to browse the courtyards and traboules of the Renaissance and appreciate the district’s Italian atmosphere. The opportunity also to taste the famous pink praline, jewel of the Lyon pastry!

For lunch, several choices are possible :  free lunch in the city center or two choices for a lunch with your guide : The “sur le pouce” option or “the lyonnaise lunch” option 

Then the afternoon will be devoted to an emblematic know-how of the city: silk! Thanks to the private museum of a famous Lyon silk house, you will discover the close link with Haute Couture, arts and even new technologies.... An impressive and unexpected visit ! Finally, you will end the day with a small snack in Lyon!
