How can we help you ?
Before you book
Shared tours follow a fixed itinerary, schedule and inclusions, and you join other guests.
Private tours follow a similar ready-made itinerary, but exclusively for your party (no other guests). The structure is planned in advance, yet we can often adapt the pace and a few elements depending on the day and availability.
Tailor-made tours (on request) go one step further: we design the itinerary from your brief.
Yes. Our shared tours are guaranteed departures we run them even if you are the only guest booked.
Meeting points and exact start/end times are shown on each tour page.
Shared tours have a fixed meeting point and schedule (typically Place Bellecour, unless stated otherwise). Special pick-ups are not available for shared tours.
For private tours, pick-up and drop-off can be arranged (hotel, address in Lyon, etc.), depending on the itinerary and logistics please ask in advance.
Shared tours run on fixed schedules. Private tours are flexible and can often be adjusted within operational limits (opening hours, traffic, availability).
Some tours run on public holidays, depending on partner availability and opening hours.
Please note that we do not operate any tours on December 25th, January 1st, and May 1st.
During the tour
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Bring a light jacket: cellars can be cool year-round. In summer, sunglasses and sun protection are useful; in rainy seasons, a waterproof layer is recommended.
Yes, when transportation is included, vehicles are air-conditioned. Details depend on the specific tour product and vehicle category.
In line with our environmental commitments, we no longer provide bottled water. However, you can refill your reusable bottle anytime. Thank you for supporting our eco-friendly initiatives.
Tours generally run rain or shine. If needed, we will adapt the program and propose a suitable alternative (for example, more indoor stops).
Tours are not rescheduled and not refunded due to rain.
Tours are primarily offered in English.
Shared tours are English-only.
For private tours, additional languages may be available upon request, subject to guide availability.
Yes. Most tastings and meal stops include seated time. However, some walking segments and certain cellar visits involve standing for short periods tell us in advance if you have mobility needs (private tours are best for full comfort).
Wine & Tastings
This depends on the tour. Some tours include tastings; others offer tastings as optional add-ons. The number of tastings and inclusions are always specified on the tour page. On private tours, we can tailor the tasting level to your preferences.
We work with a curated selection of partners. Exact winery names may vary depending on availability, season and the day’s routing. For private tours, we can align the selection with your client’s style (discovery, classics, collector-focused) whenever possible.
When possible, yes but it depends on the winery schedule and the day’s operations. Even when the winemaker is not available, tastings are hosted by knowledgeable staff. Private tours offer more flexibility to request producer meetings.
Some wineries can arrange shipping directly, depending on destination country and winery policies. We can guide you, but shipping fees, duties and regulations are handled by the winery and vary by country.
Harvest participation is seasonal and subject to estate availability and vineyard conditions. When feasible, we can propose harvest-related experiences as a specific private request.
Food, families & special requirements
Yes children are welcome on most tours. For comfort and pacing, we often recommend private tours for families (more flexibility and kid-friendly timing).
For tours with transportation, we can provide age-appropriate child seats upon request please contact us in advance with the child’s age (and height/weight if relevant) so we can confirm availability.
No pets are not accepted on our tours. They are not covered by insurance in our vehicles, and they are often not permitted in food-producing or food-serving venues for hygiene and safety reasons.
It depends on the tour. If lunch is included, it will be stated on the tour page. If not included, we can recommend or reserve a restaurant; on private tours we can build lunch into the itinerary.
For shared tours, we can note allergies but cannot guarantee full customization at every stop. For private tours, we can adapt the plan more thoroughly please inform us in advance of allergies and dietary requirements.
