Meet your driver-guide at Place Bellecour and leave Lyon for the vineyard landscapes of northern Beaujolais.

During the journey, your guide will introduce you to the Gamay grape, the Beaujolais crus and the notion of terroir. You will learn how soils, landscapes and local traditions influence the character of the wines.

Visit two family-run wineries located in different appellations. At each estate, meet the winemaker, discover their working methods and approach to winemaking, and taste a selection of their wines.

By comparing the two estates, you will experience the diversity of Beaujolais and understand how wines produced only a few kilometres apart can express remarkably different styles.
After the second tasting, return to Lyon and finish the tour at the original meeting point.
