From the city center which offers an amazing view of the Fourviere Basilica, you will reach the legendary “ficelle”, the famous funicular, that will drive you to the top of the hill in order to discover the unusual architecture of the basilica and appreciate the fantastic overview of the city. You go down to the Old Town while strolling through the roman theaters or by taking the same funicular back to the St John’s square, the oldest square in Lyon.
