Leaving from Lyon, you will take the road in the direction of the Beaujolais region, just up north of Lyon. Morning will start with an exceptional estate, perfect to comprehend heritage and wines in Beaujolais ! After an breathtaking panoramic view from the mythic Mont Brouilly, you will visit the so famous Château de La Chaize, the Versailles of the Beaujolais : discovery of “à la française” gardens, visit of the  longest cellar of the Beaujolais and finish with a fabulous tastings of red and white wines issued of a perfect harmony between tradition and modernity.

Continue your trip on the road to Pérouges and cross the unique sceneries of the Dombes region, the region of a thousand lakes. This medieval village listed as one of The Prettiest Villages of France welcomes you for a gourmet break, in the authentic hostellerie from the 13th century. You will taste the famous “Galette” from which the recipe is kept secret. You will have some free time in the village, so you can wander in the small cobblestone streets and travel back in time, before heading back to Lyon.
