From Lyon, we will head up North to join our first stop at Pierreclos Castle. This medieval castle perched on a rocky outcrop in the heart of the vineyard, will certainly seduce you with its many attractions. At first, a historical and cultural visit will allow you to discover this historical monument. The faithful renovation of the castle transcribes with talent the atmosphere of the fifteenth century. Throughout the rooms, the visit projects us into the chivalrous world of the weapons room or the dungeons, without forgetting the domestic daily cooking or bakery ... At the end of the visit, you will taste some wines of this vineyard engaged in organic farming. Its 8 hectares of vines produce an excellent Pouilly-Fuissé and Burgundy Pinot Noir.
Then we will leave on the wine route. Our circuit will then pass to the mythical Roche de Solutré. You can then observe this unique limestone escarpment, highly publicized in the 80s by the ritual rise of President François Mitterrand.
